Snedegar Construction, Inc.

Snedegar Construction, Inc. has been in business since 1965 and is privately owned. Our firm has experience in all types of utility construction, including gas, water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, electric, phone, and cable service. Monroe County, City of Bloomington, Carmel, Southeastern Indiana, Northern Kentucky, Vectren, Ameritech, Insight, and various electric utilities are among our regular customers.

Our equipment includes two new directional drilling machines, backhoes, trenchers, bulldozers, excavators and hoe rams, along with other miscellaneous equipment.

In addition to the installation of utilities, we also do clearing, leveling, excavating and other earthwork related to the development of subdivisions and businesses. Many of our employees have been with us for 10, 15 or 20 years, and have a great deal of experience on which to rely.

In addition to the Bloomington/Bedford area, we also install all the underground for energy companies in the Corydon/Clarksville area, which keeps us in that area daily and has necessitated setting up a small office at New Albany.
